Battle of Stanrey - 3D Simulation Game Dougram
The Battle of Stanrey is based on the Japanese Anime series Dougram. In the series, a group of rebels known as the Deloyer are trying to win their freedom from an evil galactic empire. The weapons of choice are 30 foot tall, human piloted, combat robots.
In the game, one player controls the robots of Deloyer and the other those of the empire. The players maneuver their robots and attempt to engage and destroy their opponent's units.
The game is a fairly standard wargame. What makes it stand out are its components. All of the robots are represented by metal miniatures and the forests are plastic trees. The game also comes with two periscopes which are used to get a "robot's eye view" of the battlefield. The periscopes are used for determining if trees are blocking the line of fire between a robot and its target. The robot is removed from the board and the periscope put in its place. The player then looks through the periscope at the target robot. If a tree is in the way then the line of fire is blocked and the attack is not allowed.
This game is interesting for the components if nothing else. The metal robot miniatures add a lot to the game and the periscope gimmick is unique and adds to the interest.

A family member gave me Battle of Stanrey 3D Sim Game. It is missing the trees and periscopes. Any advice on finding the missing pieces or a full set? I checked some of your links without much luck.
I have the Battle of Kolnock, Dougram 3D Sim Game No. 2. It is MIB Shrink Wrapped. It has all the parts. Contact me if you are still interested. The trees can be duplicated by making resin castings of the ones from this box and making as many as you want for that really heavy forested look.
I have all the parts for Battle of Stanrey except the English translation! Any help???
